1.What should be paid attention to when installing pipelines?
① The maximum distance between the suction pipe and the return pipe should be selected, and the return liquid should not be directly sucked away in any case.
② The inlet pipe of the pump cannot be connected to the return pipe of the overflow valve. Because the return pipe of the overflow valve discharges hot oil, if the hot oil is not cooled by the oil tank and sucked into the pump, it will cause a vicious cycle of temperature rise in the hydraulic system. The higher the temperature, the more faults it will cause.
③ The drain pipe of each pump should be returned to the oil tank separately and cannot be shared with the system.
④ The outlet of the return pipe is always lower than the oil level, and the minimum distance between the inlet pipe and the bottom of the oil tank is 50mm.
2. What should be paid attention to when installing an oil filter?
Use a return oil filter or pressure filter as much as possible to ensure smooth oil suction. When using an oil suction filter, it is best to use it together with a negative pressure switch/pollution display to avoid suction.
3.What are the preparations before putting into use?
① Check if the equipment has been installed carefully and cleanly.
② Fill with oil using an oil filter with the required filtration accuracy.
③ Fill the pump with oil through a suction pipe or pressure oil pipe.
④ Check whether the rotation direction of the motor is consistent with the rotation direction of the pump based on the pump model.
4.What are the precautions when putting into use?
① Avoid starting the pump without oil inside. Before starting the pump, fill it with oil through the oil port, otherwise it may be damaged.
② For pumps with exhaust valves installed at the pump outlet, for example, Figure 2-17 shows the installation of the exhaust valve of the ABT pump from Vickers Company in the United States. The exhaust valve allows air to pass through at low pressure (during startup) in order to exhaust air and cut off any oil flow at a pressure higher than 0.8 bar. If there is no exhaust valve, slightly loosen the pump outlet pipe joint for exhaust when there is no pressure. During the exhaust process, it must be ensured that the enclosed air is discharged without pressure.
③ In order to bleed the pump, the motor can also be started for a short period of time and immediately turned off (jogging operation). This process is repeated until it is confirmed that the pump has been completely bled and the manually opened bleed port is re closed.
④ Avoid starting the pump under load. Firstly, loosen the pressure regulating handle of the system overflow valve to adjust it to the minimum working pressure. Start the pump with no load and observe the pump's direction of rotation. If it is in the opposite direction, immediately stop the pump and correct it; If the steering is correct, run at least 5 minutes without load.
⑤ Avoid starting the pump when the oil temperature is too low or too high.
5.How to operate the pump after it is put into use?
① Put the equipment into use and load the pump according to the equipment manual.
② After a period of operation, check the liquid in the oil tank: whether bubbles or foam are formed on the liquid surface? Has the oil level in the fuel tank decreased below the specified value on the oil level gauge?
③ Pay attention to changes in noise during operation. Due to the heating of the working medium, slight noise enhancement is normal. A significant increase in noise or a brief change in impact noise may be due to inhalation of air. In cases where the suction pipe is too short or the filling height of the working medium is too low, air may also be sucked in through vortices.
④ Avoid running the pump under long-term full load (high pressure, high flow).
⑤ Pumps driven by engines (such as construction machinery) should avoid operating at high or low speeds for extended periods of time.
⑥ The oil filter of the pump suction pipe should be cleaned regularly.
⑦ When starting at low speed, there is a limit on the maximum viscosity of the oil, otherwise the pump will not be able to draw oil.
⑧ The pump can only operate under allowable data (such as maximum working pressure) and is only allowed to operate in good condition.
⑨ General and effective safety regulations must be followed.
⑩ When doing any work on the pump, the equipment must be connected to a pressure free state.
