Design and usage precautions for hydraulic cylinders
① Hydraulic cylinder design should avoid using non-standard sizes as much as possible;
② When installing hydraulic cylinders in situations with significant changes in oil temperature, it is advisable to avoid fixing both ends;
③ The flange mounted hydraulic cylinder should not be loaded by bolts, and the tail flange fixed hydraulic cylinder cannot make the fixed bolts bear bending moments;
④ Attention should be paid to the load direction for both earring type hydraulic cylinders and ear shaft type hydraulic cylinders;
⑤ Avoid the phenomenon of "jerking" when the hydraulic cylinder is in motion;
⑥ Avoid using fixed hydraulic cylinders to drive swinging loads;
⑦ Avoid the hydraulic cylinder piston rod from bearing large radial forces;
⑧ The plunger cylinder should not be used horizontally, and necessary measures should be taken when it must be installed horizontally;
⑨ The transition of the piston rod shaft diameter of the hydraulic cylinder must be smooth;
⑩ Do not disassemble hydraulic cylinders under pressure.
Precautions for hydraulic cylinder maintenance
① In addition to daily inspections, the connecting screws at all locations should also be tightened regularly.
② Regularly replace seals according to the specific working conditions of hydraulic equipment.
③ Pay attention to the cleanliness of the working medium.
④ Regularly monitor and pay attention to the working condition of the hydraulic cylinder, observe the working pressure, speed, crawling and vibration.
⑤ Keep the hydraulic cylinder clean to prevent dust, lint, dirt, etc. from entering the system.
Precautions for hydraulic cylinder maintenance
① When there are scratches on the surface of the piston rod, causing leakage, the piston rod should be repaired.
② When there is severe corrosion on the surface of the piston rod, or when the chrome plating layer on the surface within the working length of the piston rod falls off severely, grinding can be carried out first, followed by chrome plating repair.
③ When the dust-proof sealing ring on the piston rod no longer serves its dust-proof function and dust, chips, sand particles, etc. enter the hydraulic cylinder and damage the surface of the piston rod, the sealing element should be replaced.
④ When the bending deformation value of the piston rod exceeds 20% of the design specified value, correction and repair must be carried out.
⑤ When the leakage inside the hydraulic cylinder exceeds three times the design specified value, the cause of the leakage should be checked. If the seal fails, it should be replaced; If the clearance is too large after the piston wears out, the piston should be remade for research and repair.
⑥ When there is external leakage at both ends of the hydraulic cylinder cover, it should be checked. If the seal at the end cap is aged or damaged, it should be replaced; If the connecting screws are loose, they should be tightened.
⑦ When the buffering effect of the buffering hydraulic cylinder is poor, the buffering device must be inspected and repaired.
