Domestic Hydraulic Technology Status and Development Trend

The hydraulic industry of our country began in the 1950s. At present, it is in the stage of rapid development and improvement.

Its products were initially used only in machine tools and forging equipment, and later in tractors and construction machinery. Since the introduction of some hydraulic components production technology from abroad and the design of hydraulic products at the same time in 1964, the production of hydraulic components in our country has been formed from low pressure to high pressure series, and it has been widely used in all kinds of mechanical equipment. Since the 1990s, it has accelerated the planned introduction, digestion, absorption and localization of foreign advanced hydraulic products and technologies to ensure that our hydraulic technology can catch up with the world level in product quality, economic benefits, research and development and other aspects. With the rapid development of the industry, it has established scientific research institutions and professional manufacturers, engaged in hydraulic technology research and production of hydraulic products. They can not only produce hydraulic pump, hydraulic valve and other hydraulic components, but also design and manufacture many new hydraulic components, such as electro-hydraulic proportional valve, electro-hydraulic servo valve and so on. So far, the production of hydraulic components has become the production series of hydraulic components. The development of hydraulic technology is moving towards high efficiency, high precision and high performance. Hydraulic components towards small volume, light weight, miniaturization and integration direction development, hydraulic technology, AC hydraulic and other emerging hydraulic technology is developing. And because of the application of computer, more greatly promote the development of hydraulic technology, such as hydraulic system design, computer simulation and optimization, microcomputer control and other work, have also achieved remarkable results. At present, the hydraulic technology in the realization of high pressure, high speed, high power, high efficiency, low noise, durable, highly integrated and other requirements have made significant progress, in the perfect proportion control, service control, digital control and other technologies also have many new achievements. In addition, the development of hydraulic components and hydraulic systems, such as computer aided design, computer simulation and optimization and microcomputer control, has increasingly shown remarkable achievements. Advances in microelectronic technology, penetrating into and combining with hydraulic and pneumatic technology, have created many highly reliable, low-cost micro-energy saving components, opening up a wider prospect for the application of hydraulic and pneumatic technology in all sectors of industry.

Our hydraulic industry has formed all kinds of production scientific research system, having certain production ability and technical level. At present, there are nearly 300 enterprises in China, and more than 20 hydraulic and pneumatic laboratories are set up in national affiliated or industry-focused research institutes. There are more than 10 universities with fluid transmission and control majors, as well as national hydraulic component quality supervision and testing center and state key laboratory. Our hydraulic industry can already provide complete products for construction machinery, agricultural machinery, machine tools, plastic machinery, metallurgy, mining, petrochemical industry, railway, shipbuilding, light industry machinery and so on. At present, hydraulic components products have about 1000 varieties, nearly 10000 specifications. Through scientific and technological research and technology introduction, the product level has been improved to a certain extent, and some of the world level products have been produced. In addition, in CAD and CAT technology, pollution control, fault diagnosis, mechatronics, seawater and high water-based solution application, the application of modern control technology and other aspects have also made gratification achievements, many have been applied in production.

Our hydraulic industry attaches importance to effective economic and technical cooperation with foreign enterprises. In recent years, it has introduced a lot of hydraulic components and hydraulic system manufacturing technologies from abroad, which plays an important role in improving product level and production capacity. At present, some joint ventures have been established with the United States, Japan and Germany, which will promote the development of our hydraulic industry.
